I think most of us have had the terrible experience of accidentally deleting something we needed on our computer. It could be a document or some other file.
I think most of us have breathed a sigh of relief when the techie in our life informed us that usually when something is deleted it's not always really all the way gone. There are factors that can affect that, but typically, part or all of the file can be recovered if you know how to find it and do that.
This act of recovery does not magically rewrite history so the file was never in fact deleted. It was. It was then also recovered in part or in full.
But according to propaganda media and their flying monkeys, recovering a file after it was deleted somehow means it was never in fact deleted.
And numbnuts are parroting this idiocy.
Suddenly no one knows how computers work.
