A new poll shows the Democrats may lose bigly in the mid-terms. Well, barring any cheating, that is.

With this in mind, will Dems push harder for more spending, aimed at buying votes?

For all the talk about the two big "stimulus" packages, they have not done squat and they even have two reconciliation plays they can use before October.

Reading social media posts and comment sections in update videos shows there are many Americans who are still struggling and are tired of ALL the political gamesmanship.

Big considerations are things like how Social Security (SSD/SSI) was promised a much-needed increase and that still has not happened.

Another is how other countries globally almost immediately acted to help their people when they instituted lockdowns, but the USA did not. Citizens had to wait for extended periods of time for scraps, and even those have been few and far between, given the scope of the government lockdown actions.

This has resulted in people still trying to play catch-up, and dealing with losses directly because of covid and government actions.

As more states ease restrictions, people are still trying to recover and are now dealing with the added layers of disaster from Dear Leader's economic policies.

Agree or disagree with any of this, the fact remains that a whole lot of people are struggling and seriously fed up.

This could be all the more reason for the Dems to totally load up those two bills even more, or even combine them and create a new one to add, in order to swing voter favor via more stimulus aid directly to individuals, families, and businesses.

People have short memories though, so strategically, the Dems may wait until the last minute to pass such bills in order to maximize voter memory AND increase the time frame in which they blame the GOP for nothing happening sooner.
